A resident of Bradenton Florida, Barbara is originally from Ocean, New Jersey.  After graduating from the Newark School of Fine Art, she designed for the Dan River Textile Company in New York City creating designs for fabric, and then taught art to elementary school students. During that time she owned her own art gallery, “The Art Loft”, which provided a location for local New Jersey artists to exhibit and sell their work.   

Barbara has painted in all media but favors watercolor, sometimes with pen and ink detail, and acrylic textures.  This creativity offers a distinct appearance to each painting, resulting in diverse styles.  Her passion for beautiful colors and flowers reflects in her work.

Barbara’s paintings have been exhibited and sold and displayed in local and national juried shows and galleries. She has received awards for her artwork and has numerous paintings in private and public collections worldwide.
