Civil Litigation Attorney Selected for Prominent Lawyers List

By  |

Jodi Ruberg, a civil litigation attorney with the full-service law firm Kirk-Pinkerton, P.A., has been selected for the 2019 Florida Super Lawyers list and named a Rising Star.

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, is a research-driven, peer-influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys are selected for the Rising Star category, and the list recognizes no more than 5 percent of attorneys in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

Ruberg joins the list with her Kirk-Pinkerton colleagues Bill Robertson, CEO and personal injury attorney, and Norman Vaughan-Birch, a board certified civil mediator and arbitrator.

The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines, ABA-accredited law school libraries and leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country.

Ruberg works with corporations, nonprofits, governments and individuals with litigation ranging from commercial law, probate disputes and issues arising from the Florida Sunshine laws. She is admitted to practice in all state and Federal courts in Florida and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ruberg serves on the board of directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association for its Division of Young Lawyers and is a Barrister member of the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court. Later this month, Ruberg will begin serving a two-year term on the Florida Bar Board of Governors’ Young Lawyers Division. She also recently graduated from the Sarasota County Chamber’s Leadership Sarasota program.
