The Downtown Sarasota Alliance Announces the appointment of New Board Member
Joining the Board of Directors is Holly Sylvester, a Leasing Agent & Residential Property Specialist at Michael Saunders & Company® Rental Division. She has lived in the Sarasota area since the 1970s. Holly will be serving as membership chair for the DSA.

“We are very fortunate to have her support and participation as we move forward in continuing our mission to promote and enrich Downtown Sarasota. The future of the downtown area is dynamically changing and open for discussion. We want to facilitate a positive future.” Francine DiFilippo Kent, Chair.

Judge Charles E. Williams and Gaele Barthold Join FST’s Board of Trustees

Both Williams and Barthold bring a wealth of knowledge, commitment, and passion for Florida Studio Theatre.

Judge Charles E. Williams currently serves as the Chief Judge of the 12th Judicial Circuit, and has received many awards and honors. Judge Williams joined in partnership with FST back in 2011; in 2017, he joined the board of Embracing Our Differences. Williams earned his law degree from the University of Florida.
Gaele Barthold, a retired attorney, has chaired various committees, sat on the Philadelphia Bar Association Board of Governors, and served as a Pennsylvania Deputy Insurance Commissioner. Currently, she is Chair of the Longboat Key Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Welcoming Williams and Barthold onto the board are current trustees Dennis McGillicuddy, Richard Hopkins, Jennifer Michell, Carol Poteat Buchanan, Georgia Court, Patricia Courtois, Jeff Hotchkiss, and Barbara Lupoff.

“We are absolutely delighted to have Judge Williams and Gaele join our Board,” says Board President, Dennis McGillicuddy. “The breadth of experience that each brings to our board, when coupled with their demonstrated commitment to the mission and values that drive our work here at FST, will further strengthen an already well-functioning and collegial team of Trustees.”

Local attorney receives recertification from The Florida Bar
Bradley W. Hogreve, a commercial and residential real estate attorney and shareholder with the law firm Kirk Pinkerton, PA in Sarasota, recently received his board recertification in real estate by The Florida Bar.
With more than 30 years of legal experience, the Illinois native has been a board-certified attorney for 25 years. Hogreve became a member of the Florida Bar Association in 1986. This is his fourth recertification in real estate since being first board certified in 2002.
Hogreve has an AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating, the highest rating designation available. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 and his Juris Doctorate in 1984 from the University of Tulsa.
