Manatee Community Foundation Welcomes Three New Board Members

Manatee Community Foundation recently welcomed three new voting members to its board of directors (attached from left to right): attorney Nurisha Harvey, Oysters Rock Hospitality businesswoman and Dive Into Reading co-creator Amada Horne, and community leader Susie Walters.

“Each of these forward-thinking women comes to the Foundation with expertise in our community and a commitment to supporting the growth of philanthropy in Manatee County,” said MCF Board Chair Jeanie Kirkpatrick. “Their appointments will enhance the strength of our staff and board teams as the Foundation continues to build success and opportunity in Manatee County through charitable giving.”

Former Bradenton Herald Publisher Bob Turner is Vice Chair, former Bealls, Inc. President Conrad Szymanski is Treasurer, and Sherrill Wealth Management Project Manager Dannie Sherrill is Secretary. Additional board members are Tom Breiter, Tim Henning, Barbara Jennings, Steve Roskamp, Jenifer Schembri, Dr. Xavier Sevilla, and Garrett Shinn.  Susie Bowie is executive director of Manatee Community Foundation.
