New Executive Director of Keep Manatee Beautiful
Jennifer Hoffman is originally from the Gulf Coast of Florida, and most recently resided in Dallas, Texas. For the past 15 years Jennifer has worked for nonprofit organizations managing volunteers. After graduating from University of Texas at Dallas with a Masters of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management, she added to her job skills adult education, community engagement, and special events/fundraising.
Barancik Foundation Hires John Annis
Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation announced that John Annis will join the foundation team on January 1, 2018 as Senior Vice President of Collaboration and Impact. Annis has served as Senior Vice President for Community Investment at Community Foundation of Sarasota County since 2012.
Kirk Pinkerton’s Bill Robertson receives AV Preeminent rating
Bill Robertson of Kirk Pinkerton, PA in Sarasota, recently received the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell for the 15th consecutive year. With more than 30 years of law experience, the Sarasota native represents clients throughout the state who have been injured or lost a loved one as the result of another’s negligence. Robertson, a fifth generation attorney, received his first AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating in 2004.
Goodwill promotes new director of risk management
Goodwill Manasota has promoted Bill Thielen to director of Risk Management. In this role, he will be responsible for contributing creative new ideas as well as implementing programs and procedures that directly impact all safety, loss and risk issues. Thielen has been with Goodwill since 2009, starting in its Information Systems department as a support technician and earning several promotions with his experience and work ethic. Colonel John Saputo and his team at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing were recently awarded with the esteemed Ambassadors of Excellence Big Jake Award, which recognizes top-performing wholesalers for their commitment to excellence in all facets of their operation. Saputo was presented with the symbolic Big Jake red jacket, and 185+ Gold Coast Eagle employees were given championship rings.
