Bite Squad has announced a partnership with All Faiths Food Bank to support the nonprofit organization’s mission to provide healthy solutions to end hunger in our community. The Food Love partnership, which provides the food bank with charitable funding and employee volunteers, kicked off on World Food Day, observed around the world on October 16, in collective action against hunger.

Forty Carrots Family Center received a grant of $90,866 from Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation to provide counseling to students and their families at Tuttle Elementary School over the next three years. A Forty Carrots licensed mental health counselor will travel to the school weekly to work with students identified as needing extra support by the school staff.
Asolo Repertory Theatre is the recipient of a $70,000 Arts Appreciation Grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The grant will support Asolo Rep’s 2017-18 season “Staging Our World,” which kicks off November 14 with EVITA. The Arts Appreciation Grant provides essential support for Asolo Rep’s 2017-18 season, ensuring that Asolo Rep is able to continue to cultivate and create world class theatre in Sarasota.
