On February 6, 2023, three-time Olympic gold medalist, member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, and NBC Olympic swimming analyst ROWDY GAINES will join MICHAEL PHELPS on the TOWN HALL stage.
Gaines is often referred to as “Swimming’s Greatest Ambassador.” Maybe life goes on without the Olympics, but not for the fastest swimmer on Earth. His determination to compete in Los Angeles in 1984 and his stellar success mark Rowdy Gaines as one of the world’s most dedicated and ambitious athletes. “It’s never too late to achieve your dreams. I’m living proof of that.”
Gaines will join Michael Phelps, one of the greatest athletes of all time and most decorated Olympian, to moderate the conversation about the rewards and perils of preeminent amateur athletes and life out of the water for the two champions.
