Sunshine and stunning exotic automobiles come together in a heady mix at this month’s Exotic Car Festival in St. Armands Circle. On Saturday, September 28, 2019, the Sarasota Ferrari Drivers Group hosts its third annual event, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local charities. Over 120 cars will be on display in the Circle, from Lamborghinis and Ferraris to McLarens and Porsches. “The festival is always a lot of fun,” says co-organizer Jurgen Otto. “We have a fantastic array of exotics coming and we have great support from our area dealers including Lamborghini Sarasota, Ferrari of Tampa Bay, Dimmitt-The Sarasota Studio and more. And St. Armands Circle is the perfect venue—visitors can spend a relaxing day downtown, enjoying the cars and exploring the wonderful restaurants and shops on the Circle. In the 2018-19 season, the Sarasota Ferrari Drivers Group raised over $160,000 for charity through its September 2018 car show on St. Armands Circle and its February 2019 Gala Weekend, a three-day event that included a Friday night gala dinner, the annual Exotic Car Festival on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch, and a Sunday brunch and country roads drive. Next year’s Gala will take place in Lakewood Ranch the weekend of February 28th, 2020.
